We started our business in 2002. We live in Sulphur, LA, southwest of the state. My husband Gary and I got into this business together. He for lots of moral support and me with the computer aspect and the candles. If I had a large order, Gary got right in there after putting in a hard day hanging sheetrock. He was my biggest fan, my inspiration and my in house critic. I lost Gary in January 2010, and am doing my best to go ahead and do the business without him. I miss him every day.

About Our Candles

The candles from our distributors are all done with premium blended soy wax as well as premium grade paraffin waxes.

EcoSoya

We use EcoSoya in our hand poured candles. it colors very well, throws scent very well and burns clean and smoke free. It's made of pure botanical oils with a soy bean base so it's bio-degradeable and promotes farming!

Crytalizing Palm Oil Wax

This is truly the most unique and beautiful wax that we have ever seen! Our pictures do not do these candles justice as they are absolutely gorgeous!

The finished candles have been described as having a crystal, feathered or marbled appearance and are clean buring with no soot. Our crystal wax is made from an all-natural complex blend of tropical plant oils that are renewable and environmentally friendly.

Feathering Palm Oil Wax

This is another variation of palm wax that gives a different pattern than our crystal wax.Our pictures do not do these candles justice as they are really beautiful! The finished candles have a crystal, feathered or a marbled appearance and are clean burning with no soot. Made from an all natural complesx blend of tropical ploant oils that are environmentally friendly.

About Our Candleholders

Alabastrite

Alabastrite is our product line name for polyresin items. Alabastrite is a stone-based material whcih can be intricately molded producing great detail, and will allow paint to adhere. These items made be cleaned by dusting, however, they should not be washed with water as they are painted with water soluble paints.

Bone China

White clay with bone ash added. Bone ash content must be at least 25% by U.S. guidelines. Fired at 1800 degrees. The translucent material is finished with a glaze or under glaze. Lighter, stonger, and more expensive than porcelain.

Porcelain

Fine ground white clay, molded and fired in an oven for eight hours at 1200 degrees. Finished with a glazed, under-glazed or bisque finish. Glazing produces a high gloss; under-glaze produces a matte finish. Bisque is a matte finish without glaze. After finishing, the item is cooked for six hours at 800 degrees.

Jade Porcelain

Jade porcelain is a type of porcelain made with a finer clay. Usually no glaze or only a colorless glaze will be applied at the final firing to show off the very smooth surface to preserve the translucency.

Stoneware

White clay with fine ground stone. Working with stoneware demands great expertise, and is becoming a lost art. Stoneware is safe to use in microwave and conventional ovens.

Patchwork

Unique fabric or paper prints are applied to the surface of porcelain, dolomite or poly-resin items. After application, 12 layers of lacquer are added and the item is hand polished to a high gloss between each layer.
